    3-view drawings are commonly created in the CAD industry to represent front, side and top/bottom views on one document. If you want to create an object from these views that displays below the horizon, create the flat artwork in an L formation as shown. The top view is on top, front at the bottom left, and side at the bottom right. Project the artwork (grouped) in each view by choosing the corresponding side of the cube in the Perspective Objects palette.

    If you want to create an object that displays above the horizon, create the flat artwork with the bottom view below the front view (a flip arrangement of the L formation).
