  • Rectangle tool
    The Perspective Rectangle, Centered Rectangle, Rounded Rectangle and Centered Rounded Rectangle tools allow you to drag and constrain faces that recede toward the nearest vanishing point. Select one of these tools and click and drag from one edge of the face to the opposite edge. Hold down the shift key while dragging to create a sqaure face. Front, side and top faces can be created easily with keyboard modifier keys. The cube icon in the Perspective Objects palette indicates the type of face while you draw with these modifier keys:

       1) Front vertical faces - default face (drag with no modifier key)
       2) Side vertical faces - hold down the command key (Mac) or control key (Windows) after you begin dragging
       3) Horizontal vertical faces - hold down the alt/option key after you begin dragging
    Ellipse tool
    The Perspective Ellipse and Centered Ellipse tools allow you to drag and constrain faces that recede toward the nearest vanishing point. Select one of these tools and click and drag from one edge of the face to the opposite edge. Hold down the shift key while dragging to create a circular face. Front, side and top faces can be created easily with keyboard modifier keys. The cube icon in the Perspective Objects palette indicates the type of face while you draw with these modifier keys:
