The Path Divider tool allows you to divide any path into smaller segments. These segments can be any length or evenly divided.

Path Divider
This tool divides paths. To try this tool, create a path. Click on the path with the Path Divider tool and enter a value in the dialog. The path will divide into the specified lengths. Crosshairs can also be added to the division points if desired.
