Dual dimensioning is useful for showing tolerance details with upper and lower limit values for manufacturing.
Dual dimensioning
To set up dual dimensions, open the CADtext palette. Click Dual dimensions to show Upper and Lower settings. Choose units, precision, and tolerance values for upper and lower dimensions. If you want the tolerance values to appear as shifted or 'superscript' text, click the Shift boxes. If you do not want dual dimensions, uncheck the Dual dimensions box and use the Upper section of the CADtext palette to define your dimensions. To apply dual dimensions to any live dimensions that have already been created, select the dimensions and apply these changes with the CADtext palette.
